Techi Drink Serve Robot Autonomously Delivers Beverages in Dubai
It’s called the Techi Drink Serve Robot and it’s from the company Techmetics. Distributor Amro Kamel has recently launched the drink serving robot into the Dubai market.
The robot is completely autonomous as it goes around taking orders and serving beverages. Onboard sensors help it to navigate around an area while also avoiding any obstacles that may get in the way.
The drink delivering robot stands about 4 feet tall, weighs 80 pounds and can move at a top speed of 2.2 mph. Along with responding to voice commands, the Techi Drink Serve robot can be stopped or started on a push of a button. Of course, it can be monitored and if need be controlled remotely by an app.
Kalpesh Kumar, sales manager, said: “The hospitality business is automated today, from booking a room to guest room management systems. Hotels, especially in the UAE, are switching to a digital phase, since they like to be different from their competitors.”
The company is hoping to get the robot into places like hotels, casinos, hospitals and government buildings throughout the region.
