Briggo Fully Automated Gourmet Coffee Robot

We want our coffee and we want it fast. Especially if we are late for work or rushing to make a flight. To make sure we get our coffee fast and exactly how we want it, one company is looking to make the process completely automated.

Meet Coffee Haus from Austin based Briggo. It’s a fully automated robotic coffee machine that can make about 100 cups in an hour. According to the company, one Coffee Haus equals about 4 baristas. It can run 24 hours a day fully unattended. The coffee robot also leaves a small footprint taking up only about 40 square feet making it perfect for places like airports and offices.

Customers Order From Coffee Haus Robot Via App

The process is pretty simple. Customers use Briggo’s app to order and pay for their drink. Once ready, they’ll receive a text, pick up the coffee and be on their way. It’s all about convenience. The tagline on Briggo’s website is “Fully customizable, gourmet espresso drinks on-demand. No more lines, no more counter confusion, no more misspelled names.”

The company feels that by cutting out the human element and adding the precision of artificial intelligence, the coffee will be quick and consistent. Often in places with high traffic, human baristas can get overwhelmed affecting quality and service.

Farm to Cup Gourmet Coffee

So what about the actual coffee? No matter how quick or hi-tech the process is, people want good coffee. That’s one thing Briggo prides itself on. The “farm to cup” coffee is made from the highest quality Latin American beans and roasted in small batches to guarantee freshness and consistency. The menu also offers a wide variety of drinks such as lattes, iced coffees, and chai tea along with a nice selection of gourmet syrups.

The future looks bright for Briggo as they recently made Fast Company magazine’s list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2019.
